Automated Gibbon Rewards

Your player's account is credited with some GLMB (test token) each time you play with your Gibbon.

The rewards are calculated per point scored at the end of each game session played with a Gibbon with the following formula:

Rewards gibbon/point scored = x GLMB (Gibbon weekly rewards) / (average score per game on the 5 last maps x nb of games from week n-1)

Example:

Assuming that on a given week, there is a total of 500 GLMB available for the Gibbon rewards.

If the average score obtained by all the players over the past 5 weeks is 1200/game played and if there were 5200 games played on the previous week,

Then, the players will receive 500/ (1200 x 5200) = 0.0000801282051282 GLMB / point scored with their Gibbons during that given week.

Each week, as the different variable change, so does the GLMB rewards per point scored with a Gibbon.

Classic Prize Pool

The Rewards are attributed on a weekly basis. Players compete on a different map each week for the best accumulated score until 15:00 UTC on Mondays (end of the week)

All the scores obtained with your apes as you play are added together and give you a rank. The best 100 players win a prize.

Every Monday at 18:30 UTC (beginning of the week), a new map is pushed in the game and the leader board is reset to 0.

It means that the game servers are always unavailable between 15:00 and 18:30 UTC on Mondays.

The prizes are directly claimable on your player's profile 48h after the end of the week. An announcement is usually made on Discord and Telegram to let the players know that the rewards have been made available to claim.

GLMR APES Prize Pool

GLMR APES is our OG NFT collection. Holding these NFTs automatically make you part of GLMR APES DAO and gives you access to a GLMA-only weekly prize pool. (on top of the classic prizes)

The GLMA-only prize pool is made of GLMB tokens. It is distributed to the players with the best accumulated scores of the week obtained with their GLMR APES.

In other words, each time you play a game session with a GLMR APES, it counts both for the Classic Prize Pool and for the GLMA Prize Pool.

The leader board is reset on Mondays at 18:30 UTC each week and the prizes are directly claimable in-game on your player's profile.

As we are doing a lot of A/B testing, closely monitoring the player's behavior on the game, you can expect to see frequent updates on the number of winners and the size of the prize pool over the next few months.
